SEND
Support
Students with SEND often face specific learning barriers that can’t always be addressed in the traditional classroom. As mentors we provide personalised, one-on-one support that ensures students receive the attention and resources they need to succeed. Our packages can be tailored to individual children and their specific needs.
We always strive to ensure regular communication with schools, families, and other support services, working always in partnership to achieve the best outcomes for the child or young person.
For children & young people identified as having special educational needs (SEND), either at SEN Support or with an Education, Health & Care Plan, we offer support to address the following areas of need, defined in the SEND Code of Practice, (2015).
Communication & interaction skills
Cognition & learning
Social, emotional & mental health difficulties
This support can take place on the school site, at the child’s home or on other designated premises.
